Cristian Escobar - Instrumental Music Director, AP Music Theory, and Tri-M Advisor
Mr. Cristian Escobar is a professional trumpet player and music educator based in Miami, Florida. He attended the New World School of the Arts and is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. Cristian currently serves as a teaching artist with the Miami Music Project and is the principal trumpet of the Miami Pixel Symphony. He also performs regularly with the Miami Wind Symphony and other professional ensembles throughout South Florida.
Cristian has performed at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. He is also an Emmy nominee through his work with the Miami-Dade Video Game Orchestra. In addition to his performance career, Cristian has extensive experience in music education, having taught at The Cushman School, Shenandoah Middle School, and Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School. He is an active private trumpet instructor, providing individualized instruction to students throughout Miami-Dade County. Through his work as an educator and performer, Cristian is dedicated to fostering musical excellence and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
